The Problems With US” book is so much more than just outlining issues within the black community. It is/was written as a tool to educate US and assist with reflecting on the areas that need to be changed in order for US to thrive! In order for US to do better, WE have to know better and begin exploring what that “better” should, would, could, can, or will look like. As Angela Davis once said, “We have to talk about liberating minds as well as liberating society”. So let’s begin exploring ways in which we can liberate our minds from the shackles of dysfunction to create healthier functioning communities for our families and generations to come.
